EBC leads public communication transition to TV 3.0

At the RNP Forum in Brasília, the Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC) highlighted its role in the transition to TV 3.0. This new broadcasting standard integrates traditional television with internet-based applications, marking the most significant evolution in open television since digitalization.

EBC has been selected to manage the 'Plataforma Comum' (Common Platform), an environment within TV 3.0 that converges content from various public broadcasters, including TV Câmara, Senado, Justiça, and EBC’s own TV Brasil and Canal Gov. The platform is designed to offer not only media content but also digital government services, creating opportunities for public policy implementation through the convergence of broadcasting and the internet.

Additionally, the RNP Forum celebrated 20 years of the Rede Universitária de Telemedicina (RUTE), a major telemedicine initiative in Latin America recognized by the World Health Organization for its role in connecting health professionals and researchers through digital technology.
