Río Bueno police arrest sexual abuse fugitive and unlicensed driver

Police in Río Bueno, Chile, have carried out two separate law enforcement actions involving arrests.

In the Crucero rural sector, Carabineros from the Police Investigation Section (SIP) apprehended an adult male who was a fugitive from justice. The individual had two active arrest warrants, one from the San Felipe Guarantee Court and another from the Río Bueno Guarantee Court for the crime of sexual abuse involving a minor under 14. The latter warrant was for the fulfillment of a sentence. The suspect has been handed over to the courts.

In a separate urban incident at the intersection of Avenida Arturo Prat and Balmaceda, a traffic collision resulted in minor injuries and material damage. During the investigation, officers discovered that one of the drivers was operating a vehicle with a license that had been suspended for two years. The woman was detained and remains under judicial supervision pending a court summons.
