Río Gallegos fitness center celebrates four years of Pilates
The fitness center ‘Vibrando Alto’ in the San Benito neighborhood of Río Gallegos is celebrating its fourth anniversary. Founded by Sara Levil, the center has grown to serve more than 80 students of various ages and genders.
Sara Levil operates the project alongside her sister, Priscila Levil. The instructors focus on personalized instruction by maintaining small groups of up to five students per session. They utilize reformer machines with spring-based resistance, which allows them to adapt exercises to the specific needs and pathologies of each individual.
Levil noted that Pilates has evolved from a niche practice into a key contemporary fitness tool recommended by health professionals. The 50-minute sessions are designed to improve strength, flexibility, and posture, while also offering emotional benefits such as stress reduction through controlled breathing and mental concentration.
