Río Gallegos implements vocational training for youth employment

More than 30 young people in Río Gallegos have received certificates after completing a professional waiter and waitress course. The initiative was a collaborative effort between the Municipality of Río Gallegos, the Universidad Nacional de la Patagonia Austral (UNPA UARG), and local gastronomic businesses.

The four-month free training program focused on table service techniques, customer service, first aid, CPR, foreign languages, and sign language to facilitate labor market insertion. Due to high interest, the next course already has over 180 applicants.
