Río Gallegos municipality launches driver's license program for soldiers
The municipality of Río Gallegos has launched a specialized training and driving practice program for over 100 soldiers at the Regimiento de Infantería Mecanizado 24. Managed by the Secretariat of Government through the Administrative Directorate of Transit, the initiative allows military personnel to obtain their first driver's license or upgrade existing categories directly within the military institution.
The program covers various categories tailored to military duties, including emergency vehicles and C2 trucks. By bringing the training and practical exams to the regiment, the municipal government aims to remove logistical obstacles for personnel. According to Secretary of Government Sara Delgado, the initiative follows instructions from Mayor Pablo Grasso to bring municipal services closer to those serving the city.
