Río Grande adds new dental chair to expand municipal dental care

The municipality of Río Grande in Tierra del Fuego purchased and installed a modern dental chair at the Centro Municipal de Salud Nº 1. The equipment expands the centre’s capacity, allowing it to offer permanent dental services and increasing the number of appointment slots.

With the addition, all four municipal health centers now provide dental care, eliminating the previous gap in the network. Mayor Martín Pérez emphasized that, despite a difficult economic context, the administration is prioritising public‑health investments to improve access, speed and quality of care for residents. The new chair features technology that enhances patient comfort and practitioner ergonomics, aiming to meet rising demand for primary‑health services in the city.
