Río Gallegos inaugurates expanded Benjamín Verón Gymnasium

The Mayor of Río Gallegos, Pablo Grasso, has inaugurated the expansion and remodeling of the Benjamín Verón Municipal Gymnasium. The project, funded with an investment exceeding one billion pesos, includes structural improvements, new locker rooms, an entrance hall, and a large new area that can be divided into two independent spaces using a mobile panel system.

The renovation is expected to significantly increase sports capacity in the city. Specifically, the new layout will allow volleyball training to expand from twice a week to every day from Monday to Friday, providing more spots for over 120 players in formative and federated categories. Additionally, Grasso announced a second phase of works that will include the construction of basketball and padel courts at the site.
