Río Grande expands local industry showcase and job training programs

The municipal Secretariat of Productive Development in Río Grande, Argentina, concluded a new edition of the "Conociendo el Motor Productivo Local" cycle, taking residents to local firms such as Vitalcan to demonstrate pet‑food production, quality control, and circular‑economy practices. Secretary Facundo Armas emphasized the importance of highlighting the city’s long‑standing industrial capacity and emerging sectors.

In parallel, Fundación Mirgor and the Río Grande municipality launched twelve vocational and entrepreneurship workshops for the second half of the year. The courses, announced by foundation representative Javier Corzo, cover electricity certification, appliance repair, textile design and other trades, aiming to provide rapid skills for employment or self‑employment in the local market.
