Río Grande to host Tierra del Fuego science and technology fair stage

The provincial stage of the Art, Science, and Technology Fair, organized by the Ministry of Education of Tierra del Fuego, will take place this Wednesday, September 2, in Río Grande. The event will be held at the gymnasium of Escuela N.º 2 “Benjamín Zorrilla.”

Approximately 67 projects from Río Grande have been selected to participate in this stage after an initial pool of more than 120 submissions. These projects will be evaluated alongside previously selected works from Tolhuin and Ushuaia to determine which initiatives will represent the province in national competitions scheduled for October and November in San Luis, Jujuy, and Córdoba.

Provincial coordinator Laura Abrigo noted that the selection process requires extensive analysis to ensure representatives generate community impact and address themes such as food safety, environmental care, wind energy, and local history and sovereignty.
