Río Grande hosts inaugural Argentine Dance and Gymnastics Championship

The Gymnasium of Colegio María Auxiliadora in Río Grande, Argentina, staged the first edition of the Argentine Dance and Gymnastics Championship on 1 August. More than 145 participants from nine academies performed around 60 choreographies across styles such as Arab dance, K‑Pop, commercial dance, free dance, aerobic and gymnastics disciplines.

The event also included a training component, with two workshops scheduled for 2 August. Paola Sopranzi led a session on choreography development, while former national gymnastics team member and judge Jesús Martín Brizzi Salazar taught acrobatics and collaborative structures. Organisers aim to make the championship a recurring platform for artistic exchange and skill development in Tierra del Fuego.
