Río Grande judokas head to Chile for regional tournament

A delegation of 24 judokas from the Escuela Municipal de Judo is traveling to Punta Arenas, Chile, to compete in the regional Yama Arashi Cup tournament. The group, representing Río Grande, aims to gain competitive experience against regional opponents.

In related news, David Pinedo, the top-ranked athlete in the Under-15 category (up to 73 kg), has been called up to the Argentine National Selection. Pinedo will participate in a training camp in Buenos Aires to be evaluated for upcoming international competitions, including the Pan American Championship in Cancun, Mexico, and the South American School Games.
