Río Grande launches mechanics workshop for women and diversities

The Municipality of Río Grande, through its Municipal School of Entrepreneurs, is launching a basic automotive mechanics workshop specifically designed for women and diversities.

The program aims to promote autonomy and confidence by providing access to technical skills and trades that have traditionally been male-dominated. Participants will receive both theoretical and practical instruction to understand vehicle functions, perform basic maintenance, and identify potential mechanical failures.

Scheduled to begin on October 23, the workshop will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Sessions will be held at the workshop classroom of the Secretariat of Gender and Community Development, located at Perito Moreno 287. Due to limited capacity, interested individuals must register in advance.
