Río Grande launches virtual suicide prevention training course
The Municipality of Río Grande has announced the opening of registrations for a virtual university course titled ‘Trainers in Suicide Prevention and Life Promotion’. The program is designed to provide tools and strengthen knowledge for an integral approach to suicide prevention.
The initiative is a collaborative effort involving the National University of La Plata (UNLP), the Argentine Psychiatric Association (APSA), the Public Defender's Office, and the Latin American Psychiatric Association (APAL). The course will offer certification from the UNLP.
Scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 9, at 6:00 p.m., the course will be conducted entirely online over a period of two months. The program is open to participants from across the country and the region.
