Río Grande Municipality Launches Free Tree Pruning Training

The Río Grande municipal government announced a free training program on tree pruning that will run from Thursday, 6 August, through Thursday, 8 October. Sessions are held weekly on Thursdays at 14:30 and combine theoretical lessons with practical exercises on pruning techniques and proper tree‑care management.

The program is organized by the Escuela Municipal de Emprendedores in partnership with the Dirección de Parques y Jardines and the Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA). It is open to any resident interested in gaining skills that can be applied both personally and in professional or productive activities. Registration is free and can be completed through the municipal Portal Ciudadano website.
