Río Grande officials sign new municipal salary agreement

In Río Grande, Mayor Martín Perez led the signing of a new salary agreement with municipal unions, including ATE, UPCN, ASOEM, and ATSA. The agreement establishes a 5.5% increase on basic, remunerative, and bonifiable salaries, effective from September 1.

This update brings the total accumulated salary recomposition for 2026 to 21.5%. The increase also affects seniority, title-based bonuses, municipal retirees, and scholarships. Union representatives noted that further negotiations are scheduled for mid-October to discuss salary scales, seniority systems, and child allowances.
