Río Grande youths begin local training for Argentine Navy

Fifty young people in Río Grande have begun a two-month training program to join the Argentine Navy and Naval Aviation. For the first time, this initial training phase is being conducted locally at the Río Grande Aeronaval Base, removing the need for participants to travel outside the city.

The Municipality of Río Grande is providing comprehensive support to the trainees, including assistance with medical evaluations, dental checks, and physical fitness requirements to ensure economic or logistical barriers do not prevent enrollment. Additionally, the municipality has donated 15 computers to create a new IT space at the base, intended to help trainees complete their secondary education and access further training programs.
