Río Negro Civil Registry brings mobile services to El Bolsón
The Río Negro Civil Registry is conducting the ‘Operativo Cordillera’ to provide essential documentation services to residents in the Andean region. This initiative aims to reduce the need for citizens to travel to central offices for administrative tasks.
In Bariloche, the operation in the 106 Viviendas neighborhood has already completed 183 procedures, including new DNI issuances, renewals due to loss or theft, and address changes. The service is now moving to El Bolsón, where staff will be available at the Provincial Administrative Center.
Carina Gómez, Director of Delegations for the Civil Registry, stated that the current visit to El Bolsón is a precursor to a much larger operation planned for the future. The mobile unit is focusing on free DNI services, including updates for minors and addressing the expiration of cards previously issued with the blue booklet.
