Río Negro Esquí Escolar program brings 300 students to Cerro Perito Moreno

The Esquí Escolar program in Río Negro Province has brought 306 high school students from El Bolsón, El Manso, and Ñorquinco to the slopes of Cerro Perito Moreno. The initiative aims to provide access to skiing for youth who might otherwise lack the opportunity to participate in the sport.

Minister of Education and Human Rights Patricia Campos and El Bolsón Mayor Bruno Pogliano participated in the event, emphasizing the program's role in expanding student horizons and promoting inclusive policies. The program provides equipment, instructors, and transportation to facilitate the experience.

One participant, Tiago Aguilar, highlighted the program's long-term impact. A former student of the program, Aguilar now serves as a ski instructor, noting that the experience can inspire vocational paths and future employment opportunities within the mountain industry.
