Río Negro Governor proposes free choice of health insurance for state workers

In Río Negro, Governor Alberto Weretilneck has announced a legislative project to allow state employees and retirees to freely choose their health insurance provider, ending the mandatory affiliation with IPROSS. The initiative aims to foster competition, forcing IPROSS to improve its services to retain its approximately 130,000 affiliates. While the government emphasizes freedom of choice and service modernization, the teachers' union UnTER has criticized the move, claiming it is a maneuver to hide the systematic emptying of the provincial health insurance system and the public health sector.

In Tucumán, Governor Osvaldo Jaldo officially presented the Provincial Public Registry of 'Ficha Limpia' (Clean Record). Established under Law 9977, this tool creates a regime of disqualifications for individuals seeking or holding public office to enhance transparency and ethics. Additionally, the Tucumán Ministry of Security and the Penitentiary Service are working to restructure the inmate treatment regime as part of a broader provincial security policy.

In Andalgalá, provincial ministers launched several strategic infrastructure and education projects, including road works, school extensions, and the preservation of the Archaeological Museum.
