More than 2,500 people have registered for the ‘Construir Inclusión’ housing plan in the province of Río Negro. The program, managed by the Instituto Provincial de Vivienda y Urbanismo (IPPV), is specifically designed for individuals with disabilities and focuses on constructing homes that meet universal accessibility standards.
The registration process was completed in two stages, with 1,121 applicants in the first phase and 1,384 in the second. The IPPV is now forwarding the files to the Subsecretaría de Discapacidad, which will evaluate each case and establish a priority order based on social and functional vulnerability.
In its initial phase, the provincial government plans to build 100 homes. Future housing units will be announced to expand coverage for those currently on the waiting list.
