Río Negro nursing students to begin practices in 20 hospitals

Seventy-seven first-year students of the Higher Technician in Nursing will begin professional practices across 20 hospitals in the Río Negro province. These activities, focused on nursing care, are part of the Professionalization Program for Health Agents (PROPAS) managed by the Escuela Superior de Enfermería-Escuela de Salud Rionegrina.

The practical training will take place in various locations, including Viedma, Bariloche, General Roca, Villa Regina, and several other municipalities. To coordinate this, the Escuela Superior de Enfermería and the Subsecretaría de Cuidado Enfermero of the Río Negro Ministry of Health held a provincial meeting with over 40 nursing managers and health professionals to organize the formative stages for the 2026 academic cycle.

The program aims to allow health agents to advance their professional training. Additionally, the Ministry of Education has confirmed that titles and certificates for cohorts between 2026 and 2030 will hold national validity.
