Río Seco students develop Parkinson's monitoring technology

Students from Escuela Técnica N. ° 1 de Río Seco presented a technological project designed to assist patients with Parkinson's disease to the Ministry of Public Health. The project, titled ‘Stable Hands’, consists of a glove equipped with technology to monitor involuntary hand tremors and record movement data.

The collected information is stored on a web platform, providing healthcare professionals with objective data regarding the evolution of tremors. This allows for better monitoring of patient progress and the evaluation of therapeutic strategies. The development team includes students Fátima Raiden, Leonel Muñoz, Candela Caligari, and Micaela Fernández.
