Various sectors are actively responding to the rapid integration of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. In Latin America, CAF president Sergio Díaz-Granados has called for regional coordination to influence global rules regarding data governance, computing access, and AI standards.

While there is no federal ban in the United States, New York City plans to implement a one-year moratorium on generative AI for students from 2nd grade to 8th grade starting in the 2026-2027 school year to study its effects on learning.
