Río Uruguay Seguros holds 2026 District Assemblies

Río Uruguay Seguros (RUS), a cooperative insurance company, conducted its 2026 District Assemblies virtually from September 21 to 23. The sessions were presided over by Silvina Vazón and Pedro Más, members of the RUS Board of Administration.

In accordance with Argentina's Cooperative Law No. 20,337 and the company's social statutes, the assemblies included representatives from 25 national districts across Argentina, including provinces such as Córdoba, Santa Fe, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and Tierra del Fuego. The primary purpose of these meetings was to elect primary and substitute delegates who will represent the districts at the upcoming Ordinary General Assembly.

These assemblies serve as a key mechanism for democratic management within the cooperative model, allowing associates to participate in organizational decisions and influence the future of the institution.
