Road accidents in Verdun and Hérault result in multiple injuries

Two separate road accidents occurred in France involving injuries. In Verdun, a 24-year-old woman was involved in a crash on the D903 near the Sommedieue airfield. The vehicle rolled several times before landing in a field. The driver managed to exit the vehicle before emergency responders arrived and was transported to Verdun hospital in non-critical condition.

In Hérault, a violent head-on collision took place on the RD 909 in Puimisson, north of Béziers. The accident occurred on a road made slippery by rain after one driver veered left while exiting a curve. One driver was unconscious and required emergency helicopter transport to the Montpellier University Hospital (CHU) in absolute urgency, while the second driver was also hospitalized in serious condition.
