Road closures and disruptions reported across various French departments

Multiple regions in France are experiencing significant road disruptions due to maintenance, weather, and accidents.

In the Lot department, several departmental roads are facing closures for various works. The RD 45 between Castelfranc and Anglars-Juillac requires a temporary bridge inspection, necessitating traffic diversions. Other scheduled works include cliff purging on the RD 41 in Brengues, tree pruning on the RD 87 in Cressensac-Sarrazac and the RD 803 in Bétaille, and geotechnical surveys on the RD 820 in Francoulès.

In Ille-et-Vilaine, Storm Austen caused a fallen tree to block the RD 777 near Vitré, heading toward Janzé. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, October 24, 2026, also severed electrical cables, causing local power outages. Emergency services and Enedis technicians worked to restore the road and electricity.

In the Tarn department, a serious accident involving three vehicles occurred near Dénat on the RD 612 between Réalmont and Albi. The road was closed in both directions, with the gendarmerie managing vehicle turnarounds while a formal diversion was being prepared.
