Road closures and transport disruptions reported in Jihlava and Vysočina

Multiple road construction projects and infrastructure repairs are causing significant traffic and public transport disruptions across parts of the Czech Republic, specifically in Jihlava and the Vysočina region.

In Jihlava, the intersection of Tolstého and Legionářů streets will be fully closed from September 14 to September 28. This closure includes public transport diversions, with temporary stops established near the Dukla cinema. Further disruptions are expected between September 26 and October 7 on Žižkova street, followed by planned repairs on Znojemská street in October. Additionally, a major reconstruction on 17. listopadu street is expected to last until next summer.

In the Žďár region, new stages of road closures are commencing. The road II/388 between Vír and Rovečné will face closures, with the Věstín–Rovečné section closed until September 23 and the Vír–Věstín section affected from September 21 to October 30. These works impact several bus lines, including 122, 131, 132, and 133. Other regional projects include water main reconstruction and sidewalk construction in Bohdalov, and ongoing modernization of stops in Veďár nad Sázavou. In Jimramov, the total closure of road II/357 at Jan Karafiát Square is scheduled to continue until October 31.
