Road closures disrupt traffic in Puebla, Mexico and Santa Fe, Argentina

In Puebla, Mexico, the state government began intermittent road closures on the Prolongación de la 3 Sur between Avenida Valle de México and Artículo Núm. 27 on July 7, 2026. The work, part of a four‑day resurfacing program, will last until July 10 and includes daytime lane restrictions, speed reductions and parking bans to allow asphalt‑laying crews to operate.

Meanwhile, the municipality of Santa Fe announced a schedule of traffic cuts, lane reductions and bus detours for Tuesday, July 7. The measures affect several streets, including a major blockage on Calle Francia for water‑works repairs and shortened sections of Avenida General López due to a sinkhole. Public transport routes, such as Line 16, will be temporarily rerouted. Drivers are urged to heed signage and expect delays.
