Road closures in Germany for construction in Waldbrunn and accident on B457

In the town of Waldbrunn, the main road through Oberdielbach will be completely closed from the Friedhofsstraße junction to house number 82 starting 01 July to allow the next phase of a street expansion project. Residents are instructed to move vehicles from the construction zone by 06:00 a.m. on that date, and access to garages and parking spaces will be blocked for the duration of the works. Emergency services will retain entry, and waste collection will be coordinated by local contractors.

Separately, a single‑vehicle crash near Lieblos on the B457 caused the road to be partially blocked. The driver of a VW Polo, a 34‑year‑old man, was seriously injured and air‑lifted to hospital. Police have asked motorists to detour via Niedergründau, Mittel‑Gründau and Hain‑Gründau while one lane remains open for traffic.

Both incidents have resulted in temporary disruptions to local traffic and prompted safety advisories for drivers in the affected areas.
