Road closures scheduled for A68 and RD 118 in France

Several road closures and maintenance operations are scheduled in France for October 2026.

On the A68 motorway near Toulouse, VINCI Autoroutes will conduct maintenance work during the nights of October 14 to 16. The works include inspecting structures, cleaning gutters, and repairing safety barriers. During the night of October 14 to 15, the A68 will be closed toward Albi between the Montblanc bifurcation and the Montastruc interchange from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Diversions will be implemented via the La Roseraie interchange.

In the Aude department, the RD 118 will face daytime closures from October 19 to 30. The section passing through the Saint-Georges gorges will be closed to vehicles between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM to allow for a geotechnical diagnosis of the rock walls. This inspection will utilize drones and geologist teams deployed by helicopter. The duration of these works may vary depending on weather conditions.
