Road closures scheduled for Llanidloes and Llandysul

Several road closures and traffic restrictions are scheduled in Wales for maintenance and infrastructure improvements.

In Llanidloes, Short Bridge Street (C2020) will close for resurfacing works between 6pm and midnight from October 5 to October 9. Powys County Council has implemented a 10-mile diversion via Llangurig. While the closure affects motorists, access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained.

In the Llandysul area, Ceredigion County Council has announced two separate projects. The C1045 at Rhydlewis will close starting October 5 for approximately three weeks to facilitate drainage replacement. Additionally, the U5267 at Prengwyn is scheduled for culvert replacement works beginning October 12, which is expected to last about four weeks. Pedestrian access will remain available during both projects.
