Road Dogg recounts past substance abuse incident involving Jeff Jarrett
Retired professional wrestler Road Dogg recently recounted a dark anecdote from his past involving substance abuse and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett. During an interview with HeartasArt at Fan Expo Chicago, Dogg described an incident where he and Jarrett drove past a deceased person on the side of the road while leaving a Chicago club called the Stay Out Club.
Dogg explained that after snorting cocaine for eight hours, he decided not to stop despite Jarrett's suggestion to do so. He characterized the event as one of many “stupid things” he did during his years of addiction.
Dogg has been sober since 2010, noting that he sought recovery to save his life and avoid a cycle of drug use. He has previously credited WWE with assisting his recovery by paying for rehabilitation.
