Road Dogg set for wrestling return after 11 years

WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg is scheduled to return to professional wrestling on October 22 at Jeff Jarrett’s All-Star Super Slam in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This marks his first official match in over 11 years, following his last appearance at the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble.

The event, held at Veterans Park as part of the annual Hendersonville Pig Fest, celebrates Jeff Jarrett’s 40-year career in wrestling. Road Dogg will team with Jarrett and Jay Lethal to face the trio of QT Marshall, Elijah Drago, and Brady Booker.

The comeback is notable as his longtime partner, Billy Gunn, had previously suggested that the physical toll of a long career might prevent Road Dogg from wrestling again. While Road Dogg has remained active in the industry through creative roles and backstage appearances, this event signifies a return to in-ring competition.
