Two separate road incidents have been reported in Poland. In Białystok, a 22-year-old driver of a Volkswagen was caught by an unmarked police patrol after intentionally performing a drift at a busy intersection of Kaczorowskiego and Waszyngtona streets. The driver, who claimed he was in a hurry to get home, faced an immediate loss of his driver's license, a fine, and penalty points.
In Ciechanów, a fatal accident occurred on Warszawska Street. A 43-year-old local resident lost control of his Volkswagen, striking sidewalk bollards before crashing into St. Peter's Square. Despite resuscitation efforts, the driver died at the scene. Police and prosecutors are investigating the exact circumstances and causes of the crash.
