Road maintenance projects begin in Asti and Rome

Various road maintenance and asphalt resurfacing projects have commenced in Asti and Rome to improve safety and road conditions.

In Asti, extraordinary maintenance work on extra-urban municipal roads began on October 28. The project, costing approximately 200,000 euros plus VAT, targets several locations including Strada Cravera, Strada Rioscone/Vallemanina, and Strada Bricco Carlevaro, among others. Additionally, cleaning works for Rio Cipollino in the Palucco area are scheduled to start on November 3, followed by shoulder restoration on Strada Valle San Pietro in mid-November.

In Rome, asphalt resurfacing works are underway on Via Mezzocammino in the southern outskirts of the city. To minimize daytime traffic disruption, the work is being conducted exclusively at night between 22:00 and 06:00. The project, managed by Risorse per Roma, is expected to continue until November 28 and will affect segments between Viale Caduti per la Resistenza and Via Gaetano Butera, as well as the junction between Via Ascanio Vitozzi and Via Alfonsine. Temporary traffic restrictions and parking bans will be in effect during work hours.
