Road maintenance scheduled for Fernão Dias and southern Minas Gerais highways

Multiple highway maintenance projects are scheduled across the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais through October 2.

On the Fernão Dias Highway (BR-381), Motiva Minas SP is conducting pavement recovery, pothole repairs, milling, and signage updates. These works span sections between Guarulhos and Vargem, as well as Bragança Paulista. Drivers should expect temporary lane or shoulder closures and are advised to reduce speed.

In southern Minas Gerais, EPR Vias do Café is managing various services on several roads, including MGC-491, CMG-369, LMG-863, MG-167, and BR-146. Maintenance activities include micro-surfacing, pavement repairs, installation of reflective studs and metal guardrails, and drainage cleaning. Affected areas include São Sebastião do Paraíso, Itamogi, Guaxupé, Muzambinho, Alfenas, and Três Pontas. Work is generally scheduled between 7:00 and 17:00, though schedules may change due to weather conditions.
