Road maintenance underway on several highways in Minas Gerais

Concessionaires EPR Vias do Café and EPR Via Mineira are conducting extensive road maintenance and conservation works across several highways in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

EPR Vias do Café is performing services on the MGC-491, BR-265, MG-167, BR-146, and MGC-369 through August 23. These works include pavement milling and reconstruction, surface treatment, horizontal signaling, and safety element installation. Drivers may encounter ‘stop and go’ traffic systems in various cities in southern Minas Gerais.

Simultaneously, EPR Via Mineira is carrying out interventions on the BR-040 between Belo Horizonte and Juiz de Fora. These activities, which include pavement requalification and safety device installation, are scheduled for both day and night to manage traffic flow. Work is distributed across the Metropolitan, Central, Campo das Vertentes, and Zona da Mata regions. These operations are part of a contractually mandated schedule monitored by the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT).
