Road rehabilitation works underway in Miranda and Monagas states

Infrastructure maintenance projects are currently being implemented in different regions of Venezuela. In Miranda state, the Ministry of Transport announced a partial nocturnal closure of the Prados del Este highway. The works, managed by the Empresa de Mantenimiento Vial (Envial), affect the stretch from La Trinidad toward the center and are scheduled to run from October 24 to October 27 to minimize daytime traffic impact.

In Monagas state, the fourth phase of an asphalt plan has commenced in the San Rafael sector of the Maturín municipality. This project involves the rehabilitation of three streets—Transversal 1 of Terrazas del Oeste, Calle Guarapiche 1, and Transversal 5—through mechanical cleaning, patching, and the application of 246 tons of asphalt. The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Maturín Mayor's Office, the Monagas Governor's Office, and national ministries, aiming to benefit approximately 360 families and local educational facilities.
