Road renovation projects begin in Savigliano and Termoli, Italy
From June 29 to mid‑August, a section of Piazza del Popolo in Savigliano will be closed to vehicle traffic for resurfacing with porphyry pavement. The work, carried out by Italgas, will keep resident access possible, suspend the pedestrian zone on Via Torino and relocate the city bus stop to Via Bisalta 5.
In Termoli, the Cosib consortium has approved a €411,600 project to rebuild and secure the Bretella A14, a key 1.1‑km road link between the A14 highway, the industrial area and the regional road network. The plan, funded partly by a €339,000 regional request, aims to restore safety and capacity for heavy‑traffic vehicles that use the route daily.
Both initiatives are intended to improve local traffic flow and support economic activity in their respective regions.
