Road repairs underway in Lublin and Gliwice

In Lublin, the Road and Public Transport Management Authority (ZDiTM) has announced a tender for the rapid repair of a 360-meter section of Mełgiewska Street. The project aims to address deep ruts and cracks between Aleja Tysiąclecia and Aleja Andersa, where a 30 km/h speed limit is currently in effect. The works, which include milling, laying two new layers of asphalt, and replacing curbs, are expected to be completed within 30 days of contract signing.

In Gliwice, road crews have completed the repaving of Rybacka Street following damage caused by a farmer's plow. The repair work was conducted under police supervision to ensure security. The incident stems from a long-standing land ownership dispute; in August, a 60-year-old farmer drove a tractor with a plow over newly laid asphalt, causing approximately 184,000 PLN in damages. The individual faces charges for property destruction as investigations continue.
