Road safety checks scheduled in Lazio and Sciacca

The Polizia di Stato has released a schedule for mobile speed camera checks in the Lazio region from October 26 to November 1, 2026. These inspections are aimed at monitoring traffic during the All Saints' Day weekend. Scheduled checks include the A24 motorway in the province of Rome on Saturday, October 31, and the A12 Rome-Civitavecchia motorway on Sunday, November 1.

In Sciacca, local municipal police conducted road safety inspections on Sunday, October 25. Officers checked dozens of vehicles and identified over 20 individuals. While over 85% of drivers were found to be in compliance with traffic laws, particularly regarding seatbelt use, four sanctions were issued. These violations included failure to use restraint systems, driving with an expired license, and operating a vehicle with an expired mandatory inspection.
