Road safety education reaches over 21,000 in Mexico and 500 students in Argentina
The municipal police of Aguascalientes, Mexico, delivered road‑safety talks to 21,442 people in 2025, covering pedestrian respect, speed limits and the dangers of using a phone while driving. Sessions were held in preschools, primary and secondary schools, universities, companies and summer courses, and the program can be requested by other institutions through the municipal mobility department.
In Tucumán, Argentina, the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure and Transport, together with the Provincial Road Directorate, implemented a road‑safety education plan that reached ten schools. The initiative trained 500 students—350 secondary and 150 primary—along with 50 parents and 30 teachers, providing tools to promote safe driving habits at home and in the community. The program is part of the provincial government's broader effort to reduce traffic accidents, endorsed by Governor Osvaldo Jaldo.
