Road safety training initiatives launched in Italy

Various road safety initiatives are being conducted across Italy to improve driver awareness and accident prevention.

D. Car Motors is organizing a training program at the Sarno International Circuit. The course combines 45 minutes of theoretical instruction—covering topics such as correct driving posture, trajectories, and braking techniques—with practical track sessions. Participants engage in emergency braking exercises, obstacle avoidance, and Skid Car simulations to manage loss of traction. Successful participants receive a certificate recognized by CONI.

In Pordenone, the Automobile Club Pordenone, in collaboration with the 132nd Ariete Armored Brigade, is hosting a three-day safe driving event as part of the 4Safety FVG project. The initiative involves over 500 participants, including military personnel, students, and volunteers. The program includes theoretical modules on speed limits and safety devices, alongside practical exercises such as dynamic slaloms to understand understeer and oversteer, as well as testing ABS and driver assistance systems.
