The Lot department announced a series of road‑work projects on its departmental network in August 2026. Work on RD 15 between Lachapelle‑Auzac and Saint‑Sozy will close a 2 km section from 3–7 August, with traffic diverted via RD 804, RD 840, and RD 673. RD 67 at Labastide‑Marnhac will be closed from 5–14 August for resurfacing, using detours on RD 659, RD 820, RD 653 and RD 7. A 10 km stretch of RD 23 at Montcuq‑en‑Quercy‑Blanc will be shut from 5–7 August (6 h–13 h) with alternatives on RD 55, RD 4, RD 28 and RD 45. Additional short closures affect RD 137 at Luzech (10–14 August), RD 17 at Sénaillac‑Lauzès (10–21 August) and RD 22 at Nadillac, each with specified detour routes.
The Deux‑Sèvres department also plans multiple resurfacing works beginning 3 August 2026. RD 22 between Beaulieu‑sous‑Parthenay and Vouhé will be renovated, with detours via RD 22, RD 938, RD 131 and RD 142; traffic is expected to resume by 4 August evening, with possible restrictions until 2 September. RD 130 from Allonne to Saint‑Pardoux‑Soutier will be worked on with detours via RD 133 and RD 139, reopening by 6 August evening. From 7 August, RD 106 and its branch RD 106E at Aiffres and Saint‑Symphorien will undergo resurfacing, with detour routes established for both directions. These projects aim to improve road safety and surface quality across the departments.
