Roadrunner Classic volleyball features UTSA sweep and IU Indy split

The Roadrunner Classic volleyball tournament in San Antonio featured competitive matchups involving UTSA, Gonzaga, IU Indy, and East Texas A&M.

UTSA secured a 3-0 sweep against Gonzaga (25-16, 25-15, 25-21) to extend their winning streak to three matches. Gigi Mason and Sydney Bryant led the UTSA offense with 25 combined kills, while Isabella Arroyave contributed four aces during a decisive 10-point run.

IU Indy split their opening day of play. The Jaguars defeated East Texas A&M 3-1 (25-23, 17-25, 25-22, 29-27), led by Jillian Tippmann’s 22 kills. They later lost a five-set match to Gonzaga, falling 16-25, 27-25, 25-21, 24-26, 11-15.
