Roads in Valencia recover following storm damage
Infrastructure in the Valencian Community is returning to normalcy following the damage caused by storm Dana Adam. The Generalitat has reported that all 14 regional roads affected by the flooding and landslides have been reopened to traffic.
The most recent reopenings include the CV-678 between Pego and Oliva beach, the CV-723 in Els Poblets, and the CV-728 in Pego. Additionally, the CV-638 between Font d'En Carrós and Oliva has reopened after addressing landslides.
In a separate infrastructure update, the bridge over the Sellent River on the CV-560 in Càrcer has reopened following a three-month renovation project. Although the project was completed one month behind schedule, the bridge is now accessible to light vehicles. Heavy vehicles remain prohibited from using the viaduct until the new concrete deck passes mandatory load testing to ensure it meets technical safety standards.
