Roadwork Alerts Affect Drivers in Camden County, NJ and Warren County, VA
Camden County, New Jersey, will see multiple roadway projects from August 3 to August 7. Commissioner Al Dyer warned motorists to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Projects include partial eastbound closures on East Atlantic Avenue in Audubon, full closures on Third Avenue in Barrington, lane shifts on State Street, and several other closures and lane changes across the county, with work times ranging from early morning to late evening.
Virginia’s Department of Transportation (VDOT) issued a traffic alert for Warren County, noting ongoing highway work that may affect traffic through mid‑2026 and beyond. The alert lists single‑lane closures for bridge painting on I‑66, shoulder closures for I‑81 southbound widening, overnight lane closures on I‑81, and flagger‑controlled paving operations on Route 55, Route 79, and Route 340. Some work is scheduled nightly through September and into November, with speed limits reduced to 60 mph in affected zones.
