Roadwork and asphalt upgrades scheduled across Denmark
Various roadwork and asphalt projects are scheduled across parts of Denmark throughout late September and October.
In Randers Municipality, new asphalt will be laid in Randers city, Jennum, and Assentoft from September 30 to approximately October 16. Specific areas affected include Ydervangen, Lucernevej, Jennum Byvej, and parts of Storegade in Assentoft. To minimize disruption, work in Randers city is scheduled for evenings and nights. These projects will involve temporary closures and diversions, with bus routes potentially being rerouted.
In Horsens, the Danish Road Directorate (Vejdirektoratet) is completing upgrades on Silkeborgvej (route 52) as part of the E45 motorway expansion. Between October 5 and October 10, the final asphalt layer will be applied between the new motorway bridge and Bygholm Bakker, resulting in single-lane traffic and intermittent closures of the 56a Horsens V junction. A full closure of Silkeborgvej between the motorway and the Vrøndingvej/Bøgehøjvej roundabout is planned from the afternoon of October 10 until the morning of October 11. Once completed, the road will open with two lanes in each direction.
