Roadwork and inspections to cause bridge and highway closures in Quebec

Major roadwork and inspections will cause significant traffic disruptions in the Montreal and Laval areas.

The Samuel-De Champlain Bridge will undergo paving work requiring partial closures. The southbound direction (towards Brossard) will be closed from Friday, August 21 at 11 p.m. until Monday, August 24 at 5 a.m. The northbound direction (towards Montreal) will face closures from Friday, August 28 at 11 p.m. until Monday, August 31 at 5 a.m. These closures affect several ramps and access points, including the A-15 S, A-20 E, and A-10 E.

In Laval, bridge inspections on Autoroute 13 will necessitate closures from Wednesday, August 19 to Friday, August 21. These works include the closure of the southbound service lane at Boulevard Saint-Martin and various lane reductions in both directions. Drivers are advised to use Québec 511 to plan their routes and follow temporary signage.
