Roadwork and traffic changes reported in Piên and Londrina

Municipal authorities in Piên and Londrina are implementing various road improvement projects, leading to significant traffic alterations in their respective regions.

In Piên, the Secretariat of Planning, Works, and Urbanism has announced several road closures and restrictions. Rua Ana Pires Mendes will be fully closed for concreting services, while the road connecting Avencal and Campina dos Maia is also completely blocked for base preparation. Additionally, traffic will be restricted to a single lane at the Pinheirão climb and on Estrada do Monjolinho to facilitate rural road improvements.

In Londrina, the Municipal Secretariat of Works and Paving (SMOP) is coordinating asphalt resurfacing and pothole repairs through the ‘Recape Tá ON’ program. This initiative involves an investment of R$ 137 million, funded via a partnership between the municipality and the State Government through Paranacidade. Work is scheduled across several neighborhoods, including Conjunto Cafezal 4, Carnascialli, Ipiranga, Jatobá, and Monte Carlo, despite recent delays caused by heavy rainfall.
